With the accreditation of all graduating programs in the Faculty of Education at Bartın University (BARÜ), the total number of programs with certified quality processes has reached 25.

In line with the continuous improvement approach at Bartın University (BARÜ), program accreditation processes are being pursued with determination. At BARÜ, where quality has become a corporate culture, the English Language Teaching program in the Faculty of Education has most recently achieved accreditation by the Association for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs (EPDAD) for a period of 3 years.

Furthermore, the Science Education and Art Education programs, which are currently accredited, have been re-accredited until 2027, while the Elementary Mathematics Education, Social Studies Education, and Primary School Education programs have been re-accredited until 2028. As the number of accredited programs at BARÜ rises to 25 (23 undergraduate and 2 associate degree programs), all graduating programs within the Faculty of Education have now been accredited. Consequently, more than 50% of BARÜ’s 41 graduating undergraduate programs have certified their educational quality through accreditation.

Underlining the intense efforts invested in the accreditation of all programs at BARÜ, Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun stated:

"We are working in unity to bring the educational quality of all our programs at our university to national and international standards. Through these efforts, we are increasing the number of our accredited programs and strengthening our institutional structure in a sustainable manner. With these thoughts, I would like to thank our Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Fatma Ünal, our Department and Division Heads Asst. Prof. Dr. Erdi Şimşek, Prof. Dr. Ayla Çetin Dindar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatıma Betül Demir Evcimen, Prof. Dr. Ferhunde Küçükşen Öner, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kocaarslan, and Assoc. I also wish to express my gratitude to our President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, and the members of YÖK for their support in reaching for the better, and to our President of the Higher Education Quality Council (THECQ), Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak, and the members of THECQ for their encouragement in our quality-oriented studies."
