About Quality Committee
After the Higher Education Quality Assurance Regulation was published in the Official Gazette dated July 23, 2015 and entered into force, the Bartın University Quality Commission was established. The duties of the Bartın University Quality Commission are as follows:
To establish the internal and external quality assurance system of the institution, which is related to the evaluation and quality of educational and research activities and administrative services, in line with the strategic plan and objectives of the university,
To support the quality management system activities of the academic and administrative units of the university through the Quality Coordinatorship,
To encourage programs to enter accreditation processes and to support these studies,
To monitor the performance indicators within the framework of the objectives determined in the strategic plan of the university, to set new goals and to carry out the activites to be carried out in this context in line with the procedures and principles determined by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council,
To regularly measure the level of achieving the quality targets stipulated in the strategic plan and to ensure its sustainability,
To ensure that the understanding of quality is adopted by all employees,
In the implementation of quality management processes; to contribute to the creation of a corporate culture based on participation, using University resources more effectively and efficiently, improving processes and providing quality service,
Conducting internal evaluation activities, preparing the annual Institutional Self-Evaluation Report containing the results of institutional evaluation and quality improvement studies and presenting it to the Senate,
Making the necessary preparations for the external evaluation process,
To ensure that the annual Institutional Self-Evaluation Report approved by the Senate is published on the University's website and to inform the Higher Education Council,
To ensure that the Institutional External Evaluation Report, which is prepared as a result of on-site visits by external evaluators and accepted by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council, is published on the University's website.
