The number of programs at Bartın University (BARÜ) that have received quality assurance approval and the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) logo has risen to 19.
The number of programs at Bartın University (BARÜ) that have received European visa approval and been placed in the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) database by the Turkish Qualifications Framework Board has increased to 19. All accredited undergraduate programs have successfully received the TYÇ logo.
The newly published list includes the following departments from BARÜ's Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design: "Computer Engineering," "Electrical and Electronics Engineering," "Mechanical Engineering," and "Landscape Architecture," while the following departments are included from Bartın's Faculty of Forestry: "Forest Industry Engineering" and "Forestry Engineering." In addition, the "Guidance and Psychological Counseling" department from the Faculty of Education, the "Business Administration" department from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and the "Islamic Studies" department from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences were also included in the list and gained the right to use the TYÇ logo.

Thus, all 19 educational programs in the 7 faculties of BARÜ that have achieved accreditation have gained the right to use the TYÇ logo. The Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) logo, which will appear on the graduation certificates of all accredited programs at BARU, will ensure faster recognition of graduates' diplomas abroad. Furthermore, it will facilitate the direct mutual recognition of higher education internship qualifications and the gains from study periods spent abroad, as well as horizontal and vertical student mobility.
“We are working to ensure all our programs reach universal qualifications.”
Expressing his pride in the inclusion of all accredited programs in the TYÇ database, BARU Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun stated, “We are working diligently with all our components to internalize quality processes, disseminate them to the grassroots level, and transform this into cultural practice. As a result of our dedicated efforts, we are delighted that all our programs, which have been accredited and have thus certified the quality of education, have earned the right to use the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) logo. We will continue our quality-oriented work in all our programs within the university, working together to achieve universal competencies. I wholeheartedly believe that with these efforts, the number of programs in our university that have received the TYÇ logo will continue to increase. In this regard, I would like to express my gratitude to our YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, our THECQ President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak, and our YÖK members for their continuous support in achieving better results. I would also like to thank our Vocational Qualifications Authority President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Necmi İlhan and all those involved for their valuable encouragement in the process of becoming an internationally recognized, effective, and respected institution.”
