Bartın University (BARÜ) continues its quality journey with the accreditation processes of its associate degree programs. As part of this, the Computer Programming Program, Public Relations and Advertising Program, and Accounting and Tax Applications Program within the Bartın Vocational School, as well as the Disability Care and Rehabilitation Program, Home Patient Care Program, and First Aid and Emergency Program within the Bartın Health Services Vocational School, have recently been accredited.
Associate degree programs were evaluated by the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK) according to various criteria such as curriculum, technical infrastructure, academic staff, and practical training opportunities. Within this framework, the Disability Care and Rehabilitation Program, Home Patient Care Program, Public Relations and Promotion Program, First Aid and Emergency Program, and Accounting and Tax Practices Program were granted full accreditation for a period of 4 years. The Computer Programming Program was accredited for a period of 2 years.
Rector of BARU Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya stated, “The accreditation of our programs within the vocational schools of our university is of great importance in terms of certifying the quality of our education. The accreditation of our programs at Bartın Vocational School and Bartın Health Services Vocational School is an indicator of our quality-oriented approach.
