Quality and Accreditation Processes Discussed at the Faculty of Science

The “Guidance/Consultancy Activity for the Development of a Quality Culture,” organized to further enhance quality standards at the unit level and to evaluate existing practices, was held on Tuesday, 24 March 2026 at 10:30 within the Faculty of Science.

The workshop was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Zafer Ceylan, along with Quality Coordination Office representatives Prof. Dr. Çetin Semerci and Lecturer Özer Çulhaoğlu, who met with academic staff.

Key Topics Addressed

• Development-Oriented Evaluations: The current quality standards of the faculty were reviewed, and possible steps to improve system efficiency were discussed.
• Academic Staff Participation: In the highly participatory session, constructive suggestions and feedback from field experience were carefully evaluated.
• Accreditation Roadmap: In line with the University’s Institutional Accreditation objectives, ongoing activities were shared, and strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the quality assurance system at faculty level were discussed.

The workshop, which was highly interactive with a dedicated question-and-answer session and strong participation, concluded following mutual exchange of views.
