Quality and Output Orientation in Research: Strategic Planning with Application and Research Centers

17 April 2026 | Activity No: 2026-09

Application and Research Centers, which constitute one of the most critical components of our University’s May 2026 Institutional Accreditation timeline, convened at the Library Building Conference Hall. During the meeting, which started at 11:00, the integration of R&D processes into quality standards was discussed with the participation of center directors and their deputies.

Focus Point:
Ensuring that scientific research and societal contribution activities are documented and made traceable not only on a results basis but also on a process basis.

Key Highlights:

  • PDCA in Application and Research Centers: It was emphasized that the activity reports of research centers are not merely statistical documents; rather, these data should shape the strategy of the following year, corresponding to the “Act” phase of the PDCA Cycle.
  • Interdisciplinary Innovation: The documentation of collaboration processes among centers and their qualitative impact on the University’s overall R&D performance were analyzed.
  • Not Just Documents, but Evidence: The importance of transforming every scientific activity and project into “evidence documents” in compliance with accreditation criteria was highlighted.
